Orchid Care:

  • Keep your orchid in a bright location but not in direct sunlight.

  • The need for light is not only for the trunk and leaves. Orchids also need light for their roots, so a transparent pot should be used and the pot should not be changed unless absolutely necessary.

  • Its soil is a special mixture. It is not possible to grow it with standard plant soil. If you are going to change the soil, you should get special orchid soil.

  • Watering should be done before the soil dries completely, but it should not be done too frequently. Water should not come into contact with the leaves and flowers while watering.

  • The ideal temperature for orchids is between 13-30 degrees. They can be kept on windowsills, protected from drafts.

Terrarium Care:

  • The most important thing in terrarium care is watering. Watering should be done with a spray and the frequency of watering may vary depending on the type of plant. In general, it is recommended to water when the soil loses its moisture.

  • It should be positioned in an area away from heaters and air conditioners.

  • It should be protected from direct sunlight.

  • Fertilization should definitely not be done.

  • Terrariums love humidity. However, if watered too much, the humidity level will exceed the desired level and rot and moss may occur.

Vase Flower Care:

Apart from our potted plants, how can we preserve our lilies, daisies, roses, in short, our flowers in vases that enchant us with their fragrant scents, for a long time?

We usually watch our flowers in a vase for a week and then dry them or throw them away. In fact, we can preserve the flowers in a vase with their beautiful scent for up to 1 month. The first thing to do for this is to cut the string or rubber that the flower is tied to, regardless of its type. First, we need to let our flowers relax a little. If there is no vase, we can list the steps to be taken after placing them in a clean vase as follows;

  1. Clean the leaves on the stems of the flower that are left in the vase, if your flower is a rose, don't forget to clean the thorns as well. In this way, your flower will absorb water more easily.

  2. Cut the flower stems at a slanted angle, about 3-4 cm from the end.

  3. Change the water in the vase that you filled with clean water with fresh water every day.

  4. Place your vase in a bright location but out of direct sunlight.
